Take Time to Pray

(2 Chron. 7:14)

Take time to pray; dear friends, take time to pray,

And talk with God about your may cares.

He’s waiting patiently for you to call.

He bends His ear to hear the humblest prayers.

Take time to pray each day you rise,

The moments spent with God are those which tell,

For time and for eternity, my friends,

The moments spent with God are spent full well.

Take time to pray; this world has need of prayer;

This mighty weapon we can use with power,

For God has promised to be with His own,

And we can always trust in our strong Tower.

Take time to pray; spend hours with God,

On bended knee before the Throne of Grace;

‘Tis strengthening time; ‘tis time of greatest gain,

If we have brought our loved ones face to face

With Him who freely gave His life for all,

To save our precious lives from Satan’s thrall.
